Flitton's Nursery .......We’re
a Learning Experience
Welcome to the New Year
Over the past 18 years
we at Flitton's Nursery have developed a unique range of "hands on" workshops and classes to satisfy everybody's learning needs.
So if you are a beginner looking to start a new hobby or an experienced gardener seeking
new tips and ideas, our classes and workshops will suit you all.
Busy Lizzies
As with many growers, we will not be supplying the
normal wide range of Busy Lizzie's this year. The Busy Lizzie has been affected by Impatiens Downy Mildew which causes
them to be reduced to stalks in no time at all once infected and this has spread widely throughout the UK. This does
not apply to the "New Guinea Impatiens" which is resistant to the disease.
For sale and for
the Hanging Basket Classes we will be using "Begonia Semperflorens", The Bedding Begonia.
These come in many
colours from White through the Pinks and Reds to Peaches and Cream and will balance out well in the hanging baskets.
There will be a limited range of Busy Lizzies available for sale.
